The March/April pick is ‘All the Light We Cannot See’
In ‘All the Light We Cannot See’, Anthony Doerr weaves a mesmerizing tale of fate, resilience, and the unseen forces that connect us. Set against the backdrop of World War II, the novel follows Marie-Laure, a blind French girl, and Werner, a German soldier with a talent for radio technology, as their lives unknowingly converge in the occupied city of Saint-Malo. Through luminous prose and deeply human storytelling, Doerr explores the power of hope, kindness, and the light that endures even in the darkest times.
We will be reading this book through March and April. (A limited supply of books are available at the Ability Center.)
