In 2020, The Ability Center identified a need to conduct a larger and longer-term evaluation of barriers to Independent Living in Ohio. With the data collected, we’re hoping disability advocates around the state are better equipped to move towards the vision of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Supreme Court case Olmstead v. L.C., 527 U.S. 581.
